Born on 04 March 1983 in the Paris region and originally from the West Indies. Fascinated by the 7th art since childhood, Nicolas decided to stop his scientific studies and devote himself to cinema. He took his first steps at the EICAR (International School of Audiovisual Creation and Direction). There, he learns the basics of screenwriting, acting direction and film language. His second student short film "Dreamed" won the Grand Prix Emotion at the first edition of the Fontainebleau Festival. At the end of his schooling, he gains experience by working on film shoots and participating in numerous competitions. At the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, he won the Oceans Prize for the best short film script for the "Papé" project. His film was selected in more than 70 festivals (Director’s fortnight, Aspen, Palm Springs, Clermont-Ferrand…) and won many awards. After “Papé”, Nicolas makes his second shortfilm “American Dream” (a co-direction between two long-time director friends). In 2019, Nicolas joins a scriptwriters' workshop to write his first feature film "Dissidence". A story that takes place in Martinique during the World War II.
